1. Who we are

Nationwide Traffic Ltd is a temporary traffic management contractor based in Oxfordshire, working nationwide. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us by email or on 01865 965 271.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. Through the enquiry form on this site that is your name, company name, email address, telephone number, site location, indicative start date and the details of the works you describe.

We may also process technical information generated by your visit, such as pages viewed and approximate location derived from your IP address, where our hosting or analytics tooling records it.

3. Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare an estimate for the works you describe.
• To plan, design and deliver traffic management schemes and related services.
• To make applications to highway authorities on your behalf, such as permits and Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders, where you instruct us to do so.
• To keep records required for health and safety, insurance and accounting purposes.
• To maintain and improve this website.

4. Legal basis

We rely on legitimate interests where we respond to a business enquiry, on performance of a contract where we are delivering work for you, and on legal obligation where records must be retained. Where we rely on consent — for example, optional marketing — you can withdraw it at any time.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary: with highway authorities and other bodies when making applications on your behalf, with subcontractors or suppliers involved in delivering your scheme, and with service providers who host this website or process enquiry submissions on our behalf under appropriate contractual terms.

Enquiries that do not proceed are kept only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up. Records relating to work delivered are kept for as long as required for contractual, insurance, health and safety and tax purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
